Personal Information Collection Statement

Hong Kong St. John Ambulance endeavors to comply with and implement the provisions set out in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, ensuring that stored personal privacy and personal data are fully protected, accurate, and properly maintained. To ensure that you fully understand the principles governing the provision of personal data to the Organization, please read this Code carefully. 

Purpose of Data Collection and Usage Guidelines 

1. Hong Kong St. John Ambulance will use the data in accordance with the purposes stated at the time of collection. 

2. Provision of personal data to the Organization is entirely voluntary. However, if you fail to provide sufficient personal data, the 

    Organization may be unable to effectively process your application or provide the relevant services. 

3. The Organization may use your personal data (including your name, telephone number, fax number, email address, mailing 

    address, and the name of your affiliated organization/company/school) for future communication, processing of applications, 

   issuing receipts, fundraising, opinion collection, training course invitations, promotional activities, and other matters related to 

    the Organization. 

4. Personal data collected through this means will not, apart from the above purposes, be sold, rented, or transferred in any form 

    to any individual or organization. 

Access, Update, and Opt-Out of Promotional Use of Personal Data 

Subject to the exemptions provided under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to, correction of, and cessation of the use of your personal data held by Hong Kong St. John Ambulance for promotional purposes, except for personal data that has already been deleted after fulfilling its intended purpose.
