Course and Examination Arrangements for Typhoon and Black Rainstorm Warning Signals

When Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3 is first issued, all classes/examinations will continue as normal. The course/examination will be CANCELLED when the Typhoon Signal No. 8 / Rainstorm Black Warning is hoisted 2 hours before course commencement time.
When the Typhoon Signal No. 8 / Rainstorm Black Warning is replaced by lower warning signals or is cancelled before 12 p.m., or 2 hours before course commencement time, the course will resume as normal.
The Government may issue an "extreme conditions" announcement when serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or large-scale power outage occurring after a super typhoon. Upon the announcement of "extreme conditions" by the Government, candidates are advised to stay indoors or take shelter in a safe place. When the "extreme conditions" and Typhoon Signal No. 8 is cancelled before 12 p.m., the course/examination will resume as normal.
