- To provide hands-on practice on basic First Aid treatment
- To motivate further perusal of First Aid knowledge and skills

* This is a 3-hour course. For "Certificate in First Aid" (30-hour) course, please refer to "Certificate in First Aid" Course (AFA).

- Bleeding and Control Bleeding
- Recognition and Management of Shock and Fainting
- Recognition and Management of Heart Attack
- Recognition and Management of Fractures
- Management of Burns and Scalds
- Management of Airway Obstruction
- Management of Asthma
- Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke
- Epilepsy
- Recovery Position
- A Standard First-Aid Kit

Examination
- Continuous monitoring will be done during the class
- The result slip will be sent to the organizer
Certificate
- Candidates will be awarded an Attendance Certificate. The certificate is valid for two years, and candidates are recommended to re-take this course every year.
- The organizer or his/her delegate must bring along the original copy of the result slip to the Association counter during office hours for collection of certificates.

- Class will be cancelled if the Black Rainstorm Warning/Typhoon Signed No.8 or above is hoisted, and class will be resumed when the signal is lowered 2 hours before class commencement
