St.
John Ambulance Association is responsible
for training members of the public in the principle
and the practice of First Aid, Home Nursing and other
allied subjects, together with publication of textbooks
to facilitate such instruction. It also organizes examinations
and issues certificates of proficiency to successful
candidates. Modest fees are charged for courses and
examinations. |
| Courses and centralized examinations
for the public are usually held at well-equipped classrooms
in the Hong Kong St. John
Ambulance Headquarters at St. John Tower, 2 Macdonnell
Road, Hong Kong. The Association also
arranges courses to be conducted at premises of commercial
firms, voluntary organizations and schools on request. |

| Adult First Aid Training courses
which are conducted on a regular basis, are also held
at various Training Centres in Kowloon and the New Territories.

| A majority of the courses and
examinations are conducted in Cantonese. You may click

the Chinese courses to be conducted by the Association
in the coming six months. For individuals who are interested
in taking the Training Courses,

| For English speaking candidates,
please complete the application form and return to the
Association, a class will be arranged whenever there are
sufficient candidates. At present, the Association has
over 450 volunteer Lecturers, including doctors and nurses,
providing various training courses for members of the
public. |
