Ambulance Services Manager

A) Job Reference
  • Be the Head of Grade of Ambulance Crew and carry out the duties and responsibilities for the management, training, welfare, discipline and efficiency of all ambulance staff;
  • Oversee the day-to-day management on the ambulance operations and mobilizations;
  • Be responsible for compiling reports and administration tasks related to ambulance operations including the preparation of statistics, staff performance reports, etc;
  • Attend and take charge of ambulance operations in response to emergency situations or major incidents;
  • Perform quality assurance on the provision of ambulance service.
B) Entry requirements

Candidate should satisfy the following requirements:-

  • Have Level 3 or equivalent or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) including Chinese Language and English Language; or equivalent qualification (applicant is responsible for the proof of equivalence);
  • At least 5 years full-time working experience in ambulance service;
  • Have ability to speak fluent Cantonese; ability to speak fluent English / Putonghua will be an advantage;
  • Possession of paramedic qualifications such as Emergency Medical Assistant (II), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), will be an advantage;
  • Possession of a valid Hong Kong Driving License will be an advantage.

Contract Assistant Training Manager (Health)

A university degree holder or equivalent is preferable; 5 passes in HKCEE including English (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language or 5 subjects obtained Level 2 or above in HKDSE; a minimum of three years working experience; be proficient in common PC application, especially in MS Excel, MS Office and Chinese word typing.

Responsibilities:
  • to administer, plan & conduct training programmes & projects;
  • to prepare proposals/tenders/budgets/market surveys for training programmes;
  • to serve as secretary of relevant committees;
  • to take charge of inventory of health courses;
  • to liaise with instructors, students, external bodies;
  • to prepare publicity posters for web and social media.
